Product Identity

The Premier Mounts PWH-18W is an 18 in mounting pipe designed for projector installations. It connects to any compatible mount using a 1.5 in NPT coupler and suits installers who need a fixed drop length.

Build and Connectivity

The pipe features a powder-coated white finish and includes cable routing holes to keep wiring tidy. Its threaded NPT connection allows a secure fit with standard mounting hardware, supporting clean ceiling or wall placement.

Upgrade Context

This pipe replaces shorter or non-routed extensions where cable management is difficult. The jump is worth it when the installation demands an 18 in drop and integrated wire pathways for a professional finish.

Questions about this item

What thread standard does the 1.5 in. NPT coupler on this mounting pipe use?

The pipe connects with a 1.5 in. NPT thread, which is a tapered pipe-thread standard that seals as it tightens.

What ceiling opening or bracket is required to fit the 18 in. pipe?

The pipe has a 1.5 in. NPT male end, so the ceiling plate or bracket must provide a matching 1.5 in. NPT female coupler.

How is the pipe installed and which step is often missed?

Screw the pipe into the 1.5 in. NPT coupler on the mount, then route cables through the built-in holes before securing the projector.
