Airtight glass canister

The Prepara 3020 is a borosilicate glass food storage container with a patented vacuum-seal lid. Pushing the lid down displaces air through a twin-valve system, creating an airtight environment that locks in flavour. The clear glass body and black gloss handle suit countertop or pantry display. It is sold as a single unit.

Ideal for dry goods, not for heating

This container suits anyone storing coffee, tea or dry pantry items who wants longer freshness without pumps or levers. It is dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. Buyers needing microwave or freezer use should look elsewhere, as the product is not rated for either. The stainless lid requires hand washing for best longevity.

11.2 in overall height

The canister measures 4.56 in by 4.56 in at the base and stands 11.2 in tall with the lid in place. This height determines whether it fits a specific shelf or drawer. Verify the clearance before purchase.

Questions about this item

What are the exact height and base width of the Evak 3020 container?

The container stands 11.2 in tall with a 4.56 in square base, so allow that clearance in a cupboard or on a shelf.

How do I engage the vacuum seal correctly without jamming the twin-valve lid?

Place the lid on the glass canister and press straight down evenly until you hear the whoosh; tilting the lid traps air and prevents a full seal.

Which parts of the 3020 need hand-washing to keep the valves working long-term?

The stainless-steel cap and plunger lid should be hand-washed; the borosilicate glass body is dishwasher-safe.
