Gauge-based pressure control requires altitude
The easy-to-read dial gauge registers a complete range of processing pressures but must be monitored manually and calibrated for elevations above sea level. The air vent and cover lock prevent pressure build-up until the cover is sealed and stop opening until pressure drops safely. The unit holds 7 quart, 20 pint or 24 half-pint jars per batch.
