Questions about this item

How do I verify the comb is set to the correct cutting length after attaching it?

Slide the adjustment lever until the indicator aligns with the desired millimetre mark from 2 mm to 11 mm; the comb clicks into each of the ten positions so you can feel and see the setting.

What comes in the package and do I need any extra parts to use it?

The box contains one 10-position guide comb attachment only; you must supply a compatible Wahl T-blade stainless steel or Extreme Precision T-blade trimmer — square-blade models will not fit.

Which Wahl model numbers does this comb fit and which should I avoid?

It fits Wahl 9864L, 5537C, 5598, 9653, 9686, 9893, 9893L, 9894, 9898L, 9937, 9816-200 and 9818L; it does not fit models 5621, 5622, 5623, 8040, 8064, 8900, 9300, 9307, 9326, 9878, 9900, 9906, 9910, 9916, 9918, 9920, 9925, 9940-502, 9961, 9962, 9966, 9971, 9985 or 9990.
