Questions about this item

What is the longest cutting length the 10 position guide comb can maintain before the teeth clog with hair?

The comb offers ten fixed lengths from 12 mm to 21 mm; the 21 mm setting is the maximum cutting length the attachment supports.

Does the black plastic comb heat up or make the shaver louder during a full day of wet and dry grooming?

The attachment adds no motor or electronics, so it does not generate heat or noise; any warmth or sound comes from the shaver body itself.

Which Wahl shaver model numbers must I already own for this 12-21 mm comb to fit?

It fits Wahl models 9818-116, 9818-016, 9854-616, 3030-7000, 59300 and 3017-0050; models such as 9900, 9918 or 9961 are not compatible.
