Questions about this item

Will the 10-position comb slide onto my Wahl 9860 T-blade without a gap?

The comb is designed for Wahl T-blade stainless steel or Extreme Precision trimmer blades including the 9860 and 9860L models.

Do I need to remove the existing blade to snap the 2-11 mm guide on?

No, the guide comb attaches directly over the installed T-blade; the common mistake is forcing it onto a standard square blade which it does not fit.

How often should I replace the black 10-position guide comb?

Replace it when the teeth show visible wear or the length-click mechanism no longer holds at one of the ten settings from 2 mm to 11 mm.
