Adjustable beard comb 3–7 mm

This black precision comb attaches to compatible Prewave shavers and trimmers, letting you set cutting lengths between three and seven millimetres. It is designed for wet or dry grooming, so it works in the shower and rinses clean under running water. The part suits users who want a single adjustable guard instead of multiple fixed combs.

Wet and dry usability

The comb’s construction tolerates water exposure, allowing it to be used with foam or gel in the shower and then rinsed directly under the tap. This removes the need to swap attachments between wet and dry routines and simplifies cleaning after each trim. Buyers who prefer dry-only tools with no water contact will not benefit from this feature.

Model-specific fit

The comb fits only the listed model numbers: 5716, 5900, 5910, 7707, 7736, 7771, 7900, 7910, 7920, 7925 and 7930. It will not mount on other Prewave units or on shavers from different brands. Shoppers who own an unlisted model or a different manufacturer’s device cannot use this accessory.

Questions about this item

How often should I replace the adjustable beard comb on my MG5900 shaver?

Replace the comb if the teeth become bent, cracked or no longer click securely into the 3-7 mm settings.

What is the first limitation you notice when trimming a thick beard continuously with the MG7771?

Hair can build up between the comb teeth, so rinse the comb under running water every few minutes to maintain cutting performance.

Does the black comb on the MG7900 get hot or noisy during a long grooming session?

The comb itself has no motor or electronics; it stays cool and silent while the shaver handle provides all sound and vibration.
