Adjustable Beard Comb 3-7mm

The Prewave adjustable beard comb provides cutting lengths from 3 to 7 millimetres for compatible MG series shavers. It fits models 3740, 3747, 3748, 3750, 3757, 3758, 3760, 5720, 5730, 5735, 5740 and 5750. This replacement part is designed for men who maintain facial hair at a consistent short length.

Wet and dry use

The comb supports both wet and dry operation, so it can be used in the shower or at the sink. This allows for easy cleaning under running water after each trim. The package includes one hair clipper comb, giving a direct replacement for a worn or lost original attachment.

Length range limits

The adjustable range stops at 7 millimetres, so it cannot produce longer beard styles or full-length haircuts. It is not suited for buyers who need a wider span of cutting lengths or for shaver models outside the listed MG series. The comb attaches to the existing shaver head and does not alter the device's motor or blade speed.

Questions about this item

How often should the 3-7 mm adjustable comb be replaced on my MG3740 shaver?

Replace the comb when the teeth show visible wear or the length settings no longer lock securely; the black plastic construction resists cracking during wet or dry use.

What stops the comb from staying in place during a long grooming session?

The comb snaps onto the shaver head of models such as the MG3747, MG3750 or MG5730; if the retaining tabs wear down, the comb can shift under sustained pressure.

Does the comb get hot or make extra noise when I use it for an extended trim?

The comb itself has no motor or electronics, so it generates no heat or noise; any warmth or sound comes from the shaver unit it attaches to.
