Replacement charger for Remington XR series

This prewave power supply replaces the original charger for Remington XR1390, XR1400, XR1410, XR1430, XR1450, XR1470, XR7000, XR7100, XR7200 and RX8700 shavers. It delivers a 5.0V, 1000mA output suitable for wet and dry shaving models. The unit is new and includes the charger only.

Universal voltage input with low current draw

The adapter accepts 100 to 240V AC at 50 or 60Hz with a maximum draw of 0.68A. This wide input range allows use across different mains supplies without a separate voltage selector. The low current rating keeps heat and standby consumption minimal during daily charging.

Direct replacement for lost

This charger restores charging function when the factory unit is lost, broken or no longer holds a connection. It is not suitable for shaver models outside the listed XR and RX series or for devices requiring a different voltage or connector type.

Questions about this item

How do I install the charger for my Remington XR1450 and what step is often missed?

Connect the charger to a 100-240V~50/60Hz 0.68A MAX outlet then attach the connector to the shaver; the step often missed is ensuring the shaver is switched off before plugging in.

What maintenance will this 5.0V/1000mA power supply need over time?

No internal maintenance is required; keep the cable and connector free of moisture and debris, and replace the unit if the output drops below 5.0V or the cable shows damage.

What limit appears first when the charger runs continuously at 1000mA?

The 0.68A MAX input rating is the first limit reached under sustained full-load operation, so ensure adequate ventilation around the power supply.
