Buyers needing a charger for the listed Remington series will find the correct voltage and connector here. Those requiring a different output specification or a connector for other brands should look elsewhere. The adapter is designed as a direct accessory for the specific model numbers shown.

12V 640mA Output Specification

The charger provides a fixed 12V d.c. output at 640mA, which determines compatibility with the target shavers. Verify that the original device requires this exact rating before purchase. The wide 100-240V input allows international use with the appropriate plug adapter.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the 12V d.c. 640mA charger to my Remington R-9400 without damaging the port?

Align the barrel plug with the shaver's charging socket and press straight in until seated; forcing it at an angle bends the centre pin and breaks the connection.

Will the 100-240V a.c. input require a different cord when I travel between 50Hz and 60Hz regions?

No, the unit accepts both 50Hz and 60Hz mains frequencies automatically, so only a local plug adapter is needed for the socket shape.

What component fails first if I leave the charger plugged into 240V a.c. continuously for weeks?

The internal electrolytic capacitors degrade fastest under constant 240V a.c. stress, gradually reducing the 12V d.c. output stability.
