Compatible Panasonic Shaver Models

This prewave outer foil replaces the worn foil on Panasonic ES-CLV7, ES-CLV8 and ES-CLV9 series shavers. It fits the specific sub-models listed in the manufacturer highlights including ES-CLV7D, ES-CLV7G, ES-CLV7F, ES-CLV7T, ES-CLV7U, ES-CLV8C, ES-CLV8D, ES-CLV8E, ES-CLV9C, ES-CLV9CX, ES-CLV9D and ES-CLV9X. The part restores the cutting surface so the shaver performs as intended.

Who This Suits And Who It Does Not

This foil suits owners of the listed Panasonic models who need a direct replacement for a dull or damaged outer foil. It supports wet and dry use, so it works for both shower shaving and dry touch-ups. Buyers with other Panasonic series or non-Panasonic shavers should look elsewhere because the mounting pattern and foil dimensions are model-specific.

Deciding Specification

The single specification that decides fit is the exact model number of your shaver. Verify that your device appears in the compatibility list before ordering; only those models share the required foil geometry and locking mechanism.

Questions about this item

How often should I replace the outer foil on this prewave shaver head?

Replace the foil when shaving performance drops or the mesh shows wear; Panasonic typically suggests changing the outer foil about once a year with daily use.

What is the first part to limit performance during long shaving sessions?

The ultra-thin foil mesh can overheat or clog with dense stubble before the inner cutter or motor becomes a bottleneck.

Does the foil generate noticeable heat or noise when used continuously?

The foil itself adds no noise; any warmth comes from the shaver motor and is normal for wet or dry operation.
