Replacement holder and frame for HQ shavers

Wet and dry use with simple cleaning

The assembly is rated for wet and dry operation so it withstands shower use and rinsing under a tap. Water passes through the open structure without pooling, and the smooth silver finish wipes clean in seconds. No extra lubrication or special care is required.

Exact model match decides fit

Only the listed HQ numbers are confirmed compatible; other series or brands will not align with the mounting points. Check the model code on your shaver before ordering to avoid a part that cannot be fitted.

Questions about this item

How do I fit the holder cover and frame plate onto my HQ 8250XL shaver, and which step is often missed?

Remove the old cover, align the new holder cover with the shaver head, press until it clicks, then snap the frame plate over it; the step often missed is pressing the holder cover fully home before adding the frame plate.

What part of this silver holder cover and frame plate will need replacing first with regular wet and dry use?

The plastic clips on the holder cover tend to wear first from repeated removal for cleaning, while the frame plate usually lasts longer unless dropped.

What is the first limitation you notice when using this holder cover and frame plate continuously in a wet environment?

Water can collect between the frame plate and shaver body during long showers, so rinse and shake out excess moisture after each use to avoid buildup.
