A K-tab patio door roller assembly with a 1-1/2 in. concave nylon ball bearing roller that slides into a T-shaped receptacle without screws
The Prime-Line D 1789 is a K-tab patio door roller assembly designed for sliding glass doors. It features a 1-1/2 in. concave nylon ball bearing roller and a stamped steel body. The T-shaped tab slides into a matching receptacle in the door bottom without screws. This part suits homeowners repairing International and other compatible patio door brands.
The roller housing measures 3/4 in. wide by 1-1/4 in. tall with a 7/8 in. dimple width for frame retention. A Phillips head screwdriver is needed to operate the rear adjusting screw during installation. The K-tab design only fits doors with a T-shaped receptacle channel. Doors lacking this specific receiver style cannot use this assembly.
The single specification determining fit is the presence of a T-shaped receptacle in the door bottom rail. The K-tab slides up into this channel and is secured by dimples on the housing. If the existing door uses a different mounting method such as screw-on brackets or a flat tab, this roller will not install. Verify the receptacle profile before purchase.

This assembly uses a 1-1/2 in. diameter concave nylon ball bearing roller; verify your existing roller matches that diameter before ordering.
The T-shaped K-tab slides up into a matching T-shaped receptacle in the door bottom; dimples on the housing then lock it in place without screws.
The rear adjusting screw lets you raise or lower the door panel to correct alignment and rolling effort once the assembly is seated.
