Prime-Line S 4600 Vent Stop

This Prime-Line S 4600 window lock functions as a vent stop for double-hung windows. The white vinyl construction resists corrosion and suits standard residential frames. Mounting hardware is included with each pair for a straightforward installation. It is intended for homeowners securing ground-floor or accessible windows.

Check frame material and sash gap

Verify that the window frame accepts surface-mounted hardware without splitting the wood or vinyl. Confirm the sash gap allows the 3/4 inch length to engage fully when the window is partially open. Renters should obtain landlord approval before drilling pilot holes. This product does not suit casement, sliding or crank-out window styles.
