Holiday Beagle Ornament

This wooden Christmas ornament features a beagle wearing a Santa hat and scarf, reproduced from original artwork painted on burlap canvas. The distressed finish adds texture, while natural wood sides and back provide a surface for personalisation. A twisted wire hanger is attached for easy display on a tree or wall. It suits anyone looking for a festive pet-themed decoration.

Gift for Pet Lovers

The ornament appeals to shoppers who want a seasonal keepsake that highlights a specific breed. Buyers needing a plush toy, a glass bauble, or an ornament without a beagle design should consider other options. The flat wooden construction also means it is not a three-dimensional figure for play.

5.25 Inch Wooden Cutout

The ornament measures 5.25 inches tall by three inches wide and .25 inches thick, made from wood, paper, and wire. Artist Michele Kixmiller created the original burlap artwork that this piece replicates. These dimensions and materials define the item's scale and feel.

Questions about this item

Will the 5.25-inch height and .25-inch thickness let this wooden ornament sit flat on a shelf alongside my older glass baubles?

The ornament measures 3 inches wide by 5.25 inches tall and is .25 inches thick, so it can rest on a shelf, but it is designed to hang by its attached twisted wire hanger.

How can I check that the distressed artwork and wire hanger are secure once I unpack it?

Inspect the printed burlap-canvas surface for even distressing and give the twisted wire hanger a gentle tug — it should hold firmly without bending or detaching from the wood back.

Does the box include a hook or ribbon for hanging, or do I need to buy one separately?

The ornament comes with an attached twisted wire hanger ready to hang; no extra hook or ribbon is required.
