Classic Box Sign Style

This Primitives by Kathy box sign is a decorative wood piece measuring 4 x 5 inches. It features the sentiment "Dear Mom - I Get It Now - Thank You" with a distressed black and white finish. The item is designed to stand freely on a shelf or hang on a wall. It suits anyone looking for a compact, ready-to-display gift with a humorous or heartwarming tone.

Capacity and Headroom

The sign occupies a small 4 x 5-inch footprint, so it fits easily on crowded shelves, desks or narrow mantels. Its self-supporting base allows placement without hardware, while the integrated hanger offers a wall-mount option. The wood construction provides rigidity for either orientation. Buyers needing a larger statement piece or a sign with interchangeable messages will find this single-format design limiting.

Bundled Accessories and Software

No accessories, mounting hardware or software are included with the sign. The distressed finish and rounded edges are applied during manufacturing, so the piece arrives display-ready. There are no batteries, lights or electronic components to configure. The product delivers its full function immediately upon unpacking.

Questions about this item

Can the 5 x 4 inch box sign stand on a shelf next to my existing 6 x 6 inch frames without tipping?

Yes, the sign is designed to stand freely on its own flat base, so it will sit steadily beside larger frames on a shelf or mantel.

How do I know the distressed black and white finish matches the product photos once I unbox it?

The sanded surfaces, rounded edges and black-and-white distressed detailing are applied during manufacturing, so each piece shows the same weathered look seen in the images.

Does the box sign include hanging hardware or do I need to buy nails and a level separately?

The sign arrives ready to display on a flat surface; if you choose to hang it, you will need to supply your own nail, screw or picture hanger.
