Personalised Dachshund Ornament

A double-sided wooden hanging ornament printed with a block-style Dachshund illustration and the sentiment "I Love My Dachshund" on the front. The reverse side provides blank lines for a dog's name, adoption date and birthday, turning the piece into a keepsake. It is intended for dachshund owners who want a decorative way to mark their pet's arrival in the family.

Lightweight Wood and Cotton Hanger

The ornament is made from wood thin enough to hang on a Christmas tree branch, a wall hook or a rear-view mirror without strain. A cotton tape ribbon is attached for immediate suspension. No batteries, wiring or power draw are involved, so the item adds no heat or noise to its surroundings.

Customisable Reverse Side

The pre-printed fields on the back let the buyer record the dog's name, the date the pet joined the household and the animal's birthday using a standard pen. Once filled in, the ornament becomes a dated memento rather than a generic decoration. No additional accessories, software or tools are supplied or required.

Questions about this item

How do I hang the wooden ornament and what step is often missed?

Thread the attached cotton tape ribbon through the pre-drilled hole and tie a secure knot; the step often missed is pulling the knot tight against the wood so the ornament hangs straight.

What upkeep will the double-sided wooden ornament need over time?

Dust the block-print surfaces occasionally with a dry cloth; the cotton tape ribbon may fray after years and can be replaced with any similar-width ribbon.

What limits how long the ornament stays readable in bright light?

The printed ink on the wood will fade first under sustained direct sunlight, so display it away from windows for maximum legibility.
