Genuine Printronix Ribbon Cartridge for 6500V Series

This genuine Printronix 45U3891-PTX black ribbon cartridge is engineered for Ricoh Infoprint 6500V series line matrix printers. It delivers a typical yield of 17000 pages per cartridge. The thermal transfer formulation provides long life and exceptional character definition for high-volume printing environments. It is sold as a single unit.

Standard Life Cartridge Lowers Total Printing Cost

The standard life cartridge design targets the lowest total cost of printing for compatible 6500 and 6500V models. Each pack contains one ribbon cartridge rated for 17000 pages. The thermal transfer ribbon ensures consistent output quality across the full rated yield. This helps maintain predictable supply expenses for continuous operation.

Verify Exact 6500V Model Before Ordering

Compatibility is limited to the specific Ricoh Infoprint 6500V series variants listed: v05, v5p, v10, v1p, v15, and v20. Confirm your printer model matches one of these designations exactly. Questions about this item

How often will the 17000 page ribbon need replacing on a 6500 v10 printer?

The cartridge yields 17000 pages, so replacement frequency depends entirely on your monthly print volume.

What limits continuous printing before the ribbon runs out?

The 17000 page yield is the limiting factor; once reached, print density fades and the ribbon must be swapped.

Does the thermal transfer ribbon generate extra heat during all-day operation?

The ribbon is a passive supply item; it adds no heat, noise or power draw beyond the printer's own mechanism.
