Pro Products RO05B Rust Out Water Softener Cleaning 4.75 lb

Water Softener Resin Cleaner

Pro Products RO05B is a granular cleaning chemical designed to dissolve iron and rust deposits inside water softener resin beds. It restores ion-exchange capacity that normal salt regeneration cannot recover and helps maintain consistent water quality. The 4.75 lb container provides multiple treatment cycles for residential softener systems.

Homes with High-Iron Well Water

This cleaner suits households where well water carries enough iron to foul resin beds and leave rust stains on fixtures, laundry and dishes. It also works on dishwashers, tubs, showers and toilets for general rust-stain removal. Buyers whose water supply is already low in iron or who use a dedicated iron filter upstream will not need this product.

4.75 lb Net Weight

The package contains 4.75 lb of transparent granular formula. A first application uses 1 1/2 cups dissolved in half a gallon of cold water poured into the brine well followed by a manual regeneration. Preventative maintenance calls for 1/2 cup added for every 40 lbs of salt loaded into the brine tank.
