Professional Portable Drafting Board

The PROARTek Drafting PXB36 is a 24 x 36 inch portable drafting board built for architecture students and professionals. It provides a precise drawing surface without the footprint of a fixed drafting table. The integrated adjustable aluminum parallel straightedge ensures accurate lines for technical and creative work.

Verify Workspace and Media Compatibility

Ensure your work surface can accommodate the 24 by 36 inch footprint when the board is open. The 3/16 inch blade clearance allows use with foam board and cutting mats, so confirm your media thickness suits this gap. The board includes rubber grip tracks underneath for stability on a desk or table.

Durable Build with Integrated Straightedge

A strong particle board substrate is topped with a smooth, warp-free white melamine laminate for longevity. The 0.12 inch clear acrylic blade features inking edges and dual-scale measurements in inches and centimeters. Top-mounted adjustment and brake knobs lock the straightedge securely, while an ergonomic fold-in carry handle and 3 inch folding metal legs with rubber-dipped ends support transport and angled use.

Questions about this item

Does the PXB36 include the parallel straightedge and folding legs or must they be purchased separately?

The board ships with the adjustable aluminum parallel straightedge already mounted, plus 3" folding metal legs with rubber-dipped ends and a fold-in carry handle, so no extra parts are required.

How do I decide between the PXB36 and a smaller board in the same series?

Choose the PXB36 when you need a 24" x 36" drawing area; smaller models in the PXB series offer reduced surface dimensions for tighter spaces.

What does the 0.12" acrylic blade thickness mean for everyday drafting?

The 0.12" crystal-clear blade provides a rigid straightedge with inking edges, dual-scale markings in inches and centimeters, and 3/16" clearance for foam board or cutting mats.
