Stainless steel soleplate performance

The durable stainless steel soleplate glides smoothly over fabrics and the precision tip reaches difficult areas such as collars and seams. With 1500 watts of power the iron produces strong continuous steam and a burst function for stubborn wrinkles. Adjustable steam, spray and vertical steam options add versatility for different garment types.

Suited for everyday garment care

This model suits households that want a straightforward steam iron with automatic safety shutoff and a retractable cord for tidy storage. It is not intended for buyers who need a high-capacity steam generator station or a commercial-grade pressing system.

Three-way automatic shutoff safety

The iron switches off after one minute if left horizontal and after thirty minutes on its heel, reducing fire risk if the appliance is forgotten. This single safety feature determines whether the iron meets a buyer's peace-of-mind requirements.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 3-way automatic shutoff is functioning after I plug in the iron?

Place the iron on its soleplate or side; it should power off within 1 minute. Leave it upright on the heel rest; it should turn off after 30 minutes of inactivity.

What comes in the box and do I need to purchase a water jug or cord wrap separately?

The iron includes the 14250 unit with its 8-foot retractable cord attached. No separate cord wrap is needed. A water jug is not included; use any clean container to fill the tank.

Which version of the 14250 should I choose for 1500-watt steam output and vertical steaming?

The single model 14250 delivers 1500 watts and supports vertical steam via the blast button; there are no alternate wattage or capacity versions to select.
