Profoto 1x4' Softgrid for Softboxes

The Profoto 1x4' Softgrid is a light-shaping accessory designed for photographers using Profoto Softboxes. It attaches to the recessed front of compatible softboxes to narrow the beam and increase contrast. This tool suits studio and location professionals who need precise directional control over their key light.

Reduces light spread to 50-degree

The defining specification is the 50-degree light spread reduction. This narrows the output significantly compared to an unmodified softbox, creating a more dramatic, moody look by limiting spill onto backgrounds or surrounding areas. Buyers who need wider coverage or softer fall-off should not choose this grid.

Velcro attachment for Profoto Softbox line

Installation uses Velcro strips for fast, tool-free mounting on the softbox front recess. It is compatible only with the standard Profoto Softbox line and cannot be used with RFi, OCF, or Clic Softbox ranges. Attempting to fit it to incompatible models will result in a loose or non-functional attachment.
