Glass Door Lock with Round Bolt

The Progressive Hardware IT-20RD is a bottom-rail lock designed for glass doors such as Herculite-style entrances. It secures the door in place using a round bolt and all-bronze construction. The lock is sold new with a polished brass finish and includes mounting brackets. A mortise cylinder with a large cam is required but not supplied.

15/16" Backset and 13/16" Cylinder Backset

The lock body measures 4-3/16" in length, 1-15/16" in height and 1-5/16" in width. Its 15/16" backset suits standard bottom-rail preparations, while the cylinder backset is 13/16". Buyers needing a different backset or a face-mounted cylinder will find this model incompatible. The fixed dimensions also limit retrofit options on non-standard rails.

Included Brackets Simplify Mounting

Supplied brackets allow direct installation onto the door's bottom support rail without separate hardware sourcing. The round bolt engages the floor strike to hold the door stationary. Because no cylinder is included, the installer must provide a compatible mortise unit with a large cam to complete the locking function.
