Satin Aluminum Drop Bolt Lock

The Progressive Hardware R1000AL is a gravity-operated drop bolt machined from solid ingot aluminum with a satin finish. It is built for revolving doors and suits other applications needing a mortise-mounted locking point. The stainless steel bolt extends 1-9/16 inch when the key is turned 90 degrees.

Mortise case with standard cylinder

The lock body measures 5-7/8 by 1-3/4 by 1 inch and fits a standard mortise pocket in the door stile. A 5/8 inch round stainless steel bolt drops by gravity, so the surrounding frame must provide a strike pocket to receive the throw. The mechanism frees the installer from supplying an external power source or latch hardware.

Yale 1 keyway cylinder and two keys

The package includes a mortise cylinder pinned to the Yale 1 keyway and two cut keys. This lets the lock work immediately with the supplied keys or be rekeyed into an existing Yale 1 master system. Builders who need a different keyway or a cylinder-less body cannot use this configuration.
