It opens jar lids ranging from .5 to 4 inches in diameter and tackles clamshell packaging with the locking blade. Weighing approximately .29 pounds, it is designed for everyday kitchen use.

Simple Hand-Wash Care

No installation is required; the tool is ready to use straight from the package. The flip-out packaging blade locks into place during operation for secure cutting. The manufacturer specifies hand wash only, so dishwasher cleaning must be avoided to maintain the mechanism and blade condition.

Suits Mixed Packaging Needs

This opener suits households that regularly encounter jars, bottles, pull-tabs and tough clamshell packs. Buyers who want an electric or wall-mounted jar opener for high-volume or hands-free operation should look at a different style of device.
