Compatible Acer Projector Models

This ceiling mount is engineered specifically for Acer D820D, DX120, DX220, DX420, EV-S80H, W80H, X80H and KS330 projectors. The CNC-machined mounting plate ensures precise fitment using minimal projector coverage while leaving adequate space for heat to escape. It is not a universal mount and will not fit other models.

Telescoping Extension and Lateral Shift

The telescoping arm positions the projector 13 to 20 inches from the ceiling in one-inch increments. A Lateral Shift Coupling provides 1-1/2 inches of left or right adjustment to centre the lens when the mounting surface is not perfectly aligned with the screen. The mount rotates 360 degrees with full pitch and roll articulation.

Aircraft Aluminium Construction and Hardware

Built from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium, the mount includes all necessary hardware and detailed instructions for straightforward installation. It is not intended for drop or false ceilings. Verify that your projector model appears in the compatible list above before ordering, as the supplied plate will only fit those units.

Questions about this item

Will the 6061-T6 aluminium mounting plate or the telescoping extension ever need replacement?

The mount is built from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium and includes all hardware; no maintenance or replacement parts are mentioned by the manufacturer.

What stops the projector from being positioned closer than 13 inches or farther than 20 inches from the ceiling?

The telescoping extension locks in 1-inch increments and only adjusts between 13 and 20 inches, so that range is the hard limit.

Does the mount add any fan noise, heat or power draw when the projector runs all day?

The mount is a passive aluminium bracket with no fans or electronics, so it adds zero noise, heat or power consumption.
