Acer Projector Ceiling Mount

This ceiling mount is built specifically for Acer DX225i, DX425i, DX525A, DX525i, EV-F57AH, F57i and S57i projectors. It uses 6061-T6 aircraft aluminium for a rigid, lightweight structure. The design keeps the projector roughly 5 inches from the ceiling surface. It is not made for drop or false ceilings.

Lateral Shift Coupling Included

The mount ships with a Lateral Shift Coupling that provides 1-1/2 inches of left-right adjustment to centre the lens. This helps when the ceiling joist does not line up with the screen centre. All required mounting hardware and detailed instructions are supplied in the box for a straightforward fit.

360-Degree Rotation With Limits

The joint rotates 360 degrees and allows pitch and roll in any direction for image alignment. The fixed 5-inch drop cannot be extended or shortened. The CNC-machined plate fits only the listed Acer models; other projectors will not attach securely.

Questions about this item

Will the 6061-T6 aluminum plate or hardware need periodic replacement?

The mount is built from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and includes all necessary hardware; no replacement parts are mentioned for normal use.

What is the maximum lateral shift before the lens can no longer be centred?

The Lateral Shift Coupling provides 1-1/2 inches of left/right adjustment, which is the limit for lens centring.

How much heat builds up when the projector runs all day only 5 inches from the ceiling?

The design leaves adequate space for heat to escape around the projector, and the plate uses minimal coverage to aid airflow.
