Questions about this item

What does the 360-degree swivel actually let me do once the mount is on the ceiling?

The mount can be rotated a full 360 degrees and tilted or rolled up to 35 degrees in any direction, so you can aim the projector precisely without moving the ceiling bracket.

How does the 6061-T6 aluminum plate affect the way this mount fits the listed Acer models?

The plate is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminium for each specific model — HV832, M366, M446, MF-520, P1625, P1650 and PE-WU46 — giving a precise fit that covers only the necessary mounting points and leaves room for heat to escape.

What ceiling types and clearance does this mount need to install properly?

It mounts to drywall ceilings or wooden beams using the included hardware, positioning the projector about 4 inches from the ceiling; it is not designed for drop or false ceilings.
