Projector Mount for Acer Models

This aluminium ceiling mount is built specifically for Acer PE-X42, PE-X42G, PE-X45, S1283, S1283e and S1283Hne projectors. It positions the unit 13 to 20 inches from the ceiling using a telescoping extension that locks in 1 inch increments. The CNC-machined plate is made from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium and includes all hardware for installation.

Installers Needing Lateral Lens Alignment

The lateral shift coupling provides 1-1/2 inches of left-right adjustment to centre the projector lens when the ceiling mounting point is off-axis. Full 360 degree rotation plus pitch and roll allow precise image placement. Buyers with drop or false ceilings should look elsewhere, as this mount is not designed for those surfaces.

Extension Range and Projector Clearance

The telescoping arm sets the projector approximately 13 to 20 inches below the ceiling, giving enough headroom for most standard-height rooms. Minimal plate coverage leaves space around the projector for heat to escape during operation. The mount fits only the Acer models listed; other projectors will not attach to the custom plate.

Questions about this item

Does this mount include every bolt and screw needed to attach it to a solid ceiling joist?

Yes, the manufacturer states that all necessary hardware and detailed instructions are included for installation on a suitable structural ceiling.

Will the 360-degree rotation and lateral shift still work properly if I keep my existing Acer PE-X42 projector?

The mount is designed specifically for the Acer PE-X42, PE-X42G, PE-X45, S1283, S1283e and S1283Hne models, so full rotation, pitch, roll and 1-1/2 inch lateral shift are retained.

How can I confirm the telescoping extension is locked at the correct 13 to 20 inch distance after installation?

The extension adjusts in 1 inch increments; once the desired length is set, the locking mechanism secures the pole so the projector remains at that fixed distance from the ceiling.
