Acer-compatible ceiling mount

This aluminium ceiling mount is built for Acer RL123, RL150, RL153, RL310, RL320, RL350, SL310 and SL330 projectors. It uses a model-specific plate machined from 6061-T6 alloy to keep the projector secure while leaving room for heat to escape. All mounting hardware and step-by-step instructions are included so the installer can finish the job quickly. The unit is brand new and ready for permanent installation.

Telescoping drop from 13 to 20 inches

The pole extends in one-inch steps to position the projector roughly 13 to 20 inches below the ceiling surface. A 360-degree rotating collar plus pitch and roll joints let the installer aim the image without moving the ceiling anchor. An integrated lateral-shift coupling adds 1-1/2 inches of side-to-side travel to centre the lens when the mounting point is off-axis. This mount is not designed for drop or false ceilings.

Installers with listed Acer models

The custom plate fits only the Acer models named above; owners of any other projector should choose a different mount. The fixed 13-to-20-inch range suits standard ceiling heights but cannot reach very high or very low positions. Because the hardware is made for solid ceilings, anyone mounting to a suspended grid will need an alternative solution.

Questions about this item

What ceiling clearance does the telescoping extension provide?

The extension sets the projector approximately 13 inches to 20 inches from the ceiling in 1 inch increments.

How is the lateral shift coupling adjusted during installation?

The coupling allows 1-1/2 inches of left or right movement to centre the lens; loosen the coupling bolts, slide the plate, then retighten once aligned.

Will the CNC-machined 6061-T6 mounting plate need replacement if I change projectors?

The plate fits only the Acer RL123 RL150 RL153 RL310 RL320 RL350 SL310 SL330 models listed; a different projector will require a new mount.
