Questions about this item

Will the 6061-T6 aluminium mount need any lubrication or part replacement over time?

The mount is built from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminium with no moving parts that require lubrication, so no scheduled maintenance or replacement parts are needed.

What limits how far the projector can sit from the ceiling on the telescoping pole?

The extension locks in 1 inch steps and stops at 20 inches, so that maximum drop is the first limit you reach when setting the projector lower.

How much heat does the mount itself add when the projector runs all day?

The aluminium mount adds no heat of its own and its open plate design leaves full clearance for the projector's own exhaust to escape upward.
