ATL-BJOINT Ball Joint Accessory

The ATL-BJOINT is an additional ball joint assembly made by Projector Ceiling Mounts Direct. It connects to PCMD projector ceiling mounts using part number 77335068. This accessory lets you move a mounted projector to another room while keeping the original ceiling fixture in place.

Installers adding flexibility to a PCMD mount

The joint suits technicians who want 360 degree swivel adjustment and a quick relocation option without new ceiling work. All required hardware and instructions are included. Buyers with non-PCMD mounts or different ceiling systems should look at other solutions because this ball joint is built for the specific Atlantic mount referenced above.

360 degree swivel adjustment

The single specification that decides fit is the fully adjustable 360 degree swivel built into this ball joint. It determines whether the projector can be aimed precisely after relocation. If the installation does not require that range of motion, a fixed extension may be more appropriate.

Questions about this item

How do I install the ATL-BJOINT ball joint and what step do people often miss?

Attach the ball joint to the existing PCMD ceiling mount using the included hardware, then secure the projector plate; the step often missed is confirming your projector model matches the compatible list before mounting.

What maintenance or replacement will the ATL-BJOINT need over time?

The ball joint is built to last with no scheduled maintenance; only replace it if physical damage occurs or if you change to a projector model not listed as compatible.

What limit appears first when the ATL-BJOINT is used continuously in a fixed position?

The 360-degree swivel range is the mechanical limit; sustained use in one orientation does not create a performance limit, but the joint cannot rotate beyond the full circle.
