Extension Distance

The mount positions the projector approximately 10 inches from the ceiling surface. This fixed extension length determines the vertical placement and cannot be adjusted shorter or longer. Installers requiring a different drop distance should consider alternative mount styles.

Tilt Range and Construction

The mount offers a maximum tilt of +/- 80 degrees with full 360-degree rotation for precise image alignment. It is constructed from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium for durability. The design leaves space for heat dissipation and includes all hardware for drywall or wooden beam installation. Not intended for drop or false ceilings.

Questions about this item

What does the 10‑inch extension mean for projector placement?

It positions the lens roughly 10 inches below the ceiling surface, giving a fixed drop that suits standard ceiling heights.

How much tilt does the 360‑degree rotation and ±80° pitch allow in practice?

You can aim the projector almost straight down or up to 80° off horizontal while spinning it a full 360° for corner‑to‑corner alignment.

Will the CNC‑machined 6061‑T6 plate fit a BenQ W1120 without modification?

Yes, the plate is cut specifically for the W1120 and includes all hardware for drywall or wooden‑beam mounting.
