Questions about this item

How do I confirm the mount is holding my Epson PowerLite 98H securely after installation?

The projector should sit level with the lens centred using the 1-1/2 inch lateral shift, rotate smoothly through 360 degrees, and show no wobble at any of the 13 to 20 inch extension settings.

What hardware comes in the box for the EPSON-PL98H-LAT-13 and what must I supply?

All mounting hardware and a model-specific CNC plate for the listed Epson projectors are included; you only need to provide ceiling anchors suitable for your ceiling type.

Which extension length should I choose for a ceiling height that puts the lens 17 inches down?

Set the telescoping tube to the 17 inch mark — the mount adjusts in 1 inch increments from 13 to 20 inches so you can match the exact drop you need.
