Acer Projector Ceiling Mount

This aluminium ceiling mount is built for Acer D411DT, D412, D412D, D421D, D422D, EV-S32H and EV-S33H projectors. It uses a model-specific plate machined from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium to secure the unit with minimal coverage so heat can escape. The mount rotates 360 degrees and tilts in any direction for precise image alignment.

Included Hardware and Lateral Shift

All mounting hardware and detailed instructions come in the box so no extra parts are needed. A Lateral Shift Coupling provides one and a half inches of left or right adjustment to centre the lens when the ceiling joist does not line up with the screen. The telescoping extension sets the projector 13 to 20 inches from the ceiling in one-inch increments.

Installation Notes and Limitations

The mount installs on solid ceilings only and is not intended for drop or false ceiling tiles. The plate you receive may look different from product photos but will fit the listed models exclusively. Builders whose projector is not in the compatibility list or who need a drop-ceiling solution cannot use this mount.

Questions about this item

Will the 6061-T6 aluminium plate or the telescoping arm need periodic tightening or replacement?

The 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium construction is built to last and does not require scheduled replacement; only occasional bolt checks are recommended.

What is the maximum distance the mount can place the projector from the ceiling?

The telescoping extension adjusts in 1-inch increments and reaches a maximum of 20 inches from the ceiling surface.

Does the mount add noticeable heat or noise when the projector runs all day?

The mount is a passive aluminium structure with no fans or power draw, so it adds zero noise and does not impede the projector’s own cooling airflow.
