Acer-Specific Ceiling Mount

This projector ceiling mount is designed exclusively for Acer LU-W400 W500 X300 X400 X500 RL110 RL113 RL120 models. It positions the projector approximately 10 inches from the ceiling surface. The mount is not intended for drop or false ceiling installations. Buyers with different projector models or drop-ceiling requirements cannot use this product.

Thermal Clearance and Orientation

The CNC-machined mounting plate uses minimal projector coverage to leave adequate space for heat to escape during operation. Full 360-degree rotation plus pitch and roll adjustment up to 80 degrees tilt allows precise image alignment. The fixed extension length means the projector sits at a set distance from the ceiling plane.

Aircraft-Grade Aluminum Build

The mount is constructed from 100% 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum for durability. All necessary hardware for drywall or wooden beam installation is included with detailed instructions. The actual mounting plate received may differ from product images but will fit only the listed Acer models. Projector not included.

Questions about this item

How do I install the ACER-LU-W400-MM-10EXT ceiling mount, and what step do people often miss?

The kit includes all hardware and detailed instructions for drywall or wooden beam mounting. The step often missed is verifying the projector model matches the CNC-machined plate exactly, because the plate only fits the listed Acer models and may not resemble the product photo.

What maintenance or replacement will this mount need later?

The 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum construction is built to last with no moving parts that wear out. No periodic maintenance is required; simply check the mounting bolts annually to ensure they remain tight after seasonal building movement.

What is the first limit I will hit when positioning the projector with this mount?

The mount provides 360-degree rotation and +/- 80 degrees of tilt, so the tilt range is the first mechanical limit. The fixed 10-inch extension also sets a minimum distance from the ceiling that cannot be shortened.
