Acer V270 V550 V7850 projector mount

This ceiling mount is built specifically for Acer V270, V550 and V7850 projectors. The CNC-machined 6061-T6 aircraft aluminium plate fits only those models, leaving room for heat to escape. It rotates 360 degrees and tilts in any direction for precise image alignment. Installers who need a universal bracket will find this mount incompatible.

Lateral Shift Coupling and hardware kit

The mount includes a Lateral Shift Coupling that provides 1-1/2 inches of left-right adjustment to centre the lens when the ceiling anchor is off-centre. All required mounting hardware and detailed instructions are supplied for a straightforward installation. No additional adapters or tools are mentioned in the specifications.

13-20 inch telescoping extension

The telescopic pole sets the projector 13 to 20 inches from the ceiling in one-inch increments. This range suits standard-height rooms but does not reach high ceilings or drop-ceiling grids. The mount is not intended for false-ceiling installations.

Questions about this item

Will the 6061-T6 aluminum mounting plate or the telescoping extension tube ever need replacement?

The mount is built from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum for durability, and the manufacturer highlights it as built to last, so no routine replacement of the plate or extension is expected.

What limits how far the projector can sit from the ceiling during long sessions?

The telescoping extension adjusts in 1-inch increments and stops at 20 inches, so that maximum drop length is the hard limit for ceiling distance.

Does the 360-degree rotation joint loosen or generate heat after all-day use?

The mount is a passive aluminium structure with no moving motors or electronics, so it produces no heat and the rotation joint stays secure without wear from continuous operation.
