Acer VD6510i Ceiling Mount

This aluminium ceiling mount is engineered specifically for the Acer VD6510i projector, providing a secure fixed installation for home cinemas, classrooms or meeting rooms. It positions the projector roughly five inches from the ceiling and includes every screw and bracket required for drywall or wooden-beam mounting.

Aircraft-Grade Aluminium & Adjustment

The mounting plate is CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium for precise fitment and long-term rigidity. The assembly rotates a full 360 degrees and tilts ±80 degrees, allowing the image to be aimed in any direction while leaving clearance for projector ventilation.

Verify Projector Model & Ceiling Type

Confirm that your unit is an Acer VD6510i; the plate will only fit the models named in the title and may look different from product photos. This mount is not designed for drop or false ceilings, so ensure you have a solid drywall or timber surface for anchoring.

Questions about this item

Will the 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum mounting plate need any corrosion protection or replacement parts over time?

The CNC-machined 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum plate is built to last and resists corrosion without extra treatment; no replacement components are expected under normal indoor use.

What is the maximum tilt angle before the mount reaches its mechanical stop?

The mount allows ±80 degrees of tilt, so the hard limit is reached at 80 degrees up or down from level.

Does the fixed 5-inch extension affect heat dissipation when the Acer VD6510i runs continuously?

The 5-inch standoff leaves adequate clearance around the projector vents, allowing hot air to escape even during all-day operation.
