Questions about this item

Does this extension work with every projector mount or only the BenQ HT2550 and W1700 series?

The BENQ-HT2550-MM-10EXT is designed specifically for the BenQ HT2550, HT2550M, W1700, W1700M, W1700S and W1720 models. It may not fit other projectors or universal mounts.

What does the 10 inch extension actually change in a home theater setup?

It positions the projector roughly 10 inches below the ceiling, giving extra clearance for ventilation and allowing the image to be centred without keystone correction.

How far can the 360 degree rotation and 80 degree tilt really move the image?

The mount rotates a full 360 degrees and tilts up or down 80 degrees, so you can aim the projector at any point on the wall or screen from a single ceiling anchor.
