Compatible Projector Models

This slotted ceiling mount is engineered specifically for the BenQ LW61ST, LX60ST, MW870UST and W703D projectors. The CNC-machined mounting plate ensures a precise fit for these models only and leaves adequate space for heat to escape during operation. Projector not included.

Lateral Shift Coupling

The mount includes a Lateral Shift Coupling that provides 1-1/2 inches of left/right lens adjustment. This allows the installer to centre the image when the ceiling mounting surface is not perfectly aligned with the screen centre. All necessary hardware and detailed instructions are supplied for quick installation.

Fixed Drop and Rotation

The design positions the projector approximately 5 inches from the ceiling and is not intended for drop or false ceilings. The assembly rotates 360 degrees and can be pitched and rolled in any direction for flexible aiming. Construction uses 100% 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium for durability.

Questions about this item

Will the 6061-T6 aluminum plate or lateral-shift coupling need periodic tightening or replacement?

The CNC-machined 6061-T6 plate and coupling are built to last; no scheduled maintenance or replacement parts are required.

What stops me from positioning the projector farther from the ceiling than the fixed 5-inch offset?

The mount sets the projector approximately 5 inches from the ceiling with no extension tube, so that distance is the hard limit.

Does the all-aluminum mount add noticeable heat or fan noise during all-day operation?

The open 6061-T6 design leaves ample space for the projector’s own airflow, adding no measurable heat or noise.
