Direct-Fit Ceiling Mount

This ceiling mount is built specifically for BenQ MU607, MU613, TH585, TH685, TH685i, TK700 and TK700STi projectors. The CNC-machined plate aligns with the factory mounting points so no universal adapter is required. It is intended for installers who want a secure, model-specific fit on a drywall ceiling or wooden beam.

Replaces Universal Mounts

Universal brackets often block vents or leave gaps that compromise stability; this mount uses minimal projector coverage to preserve airflow. The jump is worth it when the installer needs precise alignment, included hardware and a fixed 5-inch drop without modifying a generic kit. It is not suited for drop or false ceilings.

Fixed 5-Inch Drop and Tilt Limits

The arm positions the projector approximately 5 inches from the ceiling and allows 360-degree rotation with +/- 80 degrees of tilt. Builders who need a shorter drop, longer extension or greater tilt range cannot meet those needs with this design. The 6061-T6 aluminium construction supports the listed models only.

Questions about this item

What ceiling types can the BENQ-TH585-MM mount be fixed to?

The mount includes hardware for drywall ceilings and wooden beams. It is not intended for drop or false ceilings.

Which step in the installation is most often missed when setting the tilt angle?

Users sometimes forget to tighten the tilt lock after adjusting the +/- 80 degree pitch, so the projector can drift over time.

Will the CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum plate need any periodic maintenance?

No scheduled maintenance is required; the aircraft-grade aluminum plate is corrosion-resistant and designed for the life of the mount.
