10-inch Epson projector extension mount

This ceiling-mount extension positions compatible Epson projectors approximately 10 inches from the ceiling. It is machined from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium and includes all hardware plus detailed instructions for a straightforward installation on drywall or wooden beams.

Replaces shorter fixed mounts when extra drop is

The 10-inch extension is worth choosing when the standard mount leaves the projector too close to the ceiling for proper ventilation or image alignment. It provides 360-degree rotation and up to 80 degrees of tilt adjustment, giving installers the extra clearance required for high ceilings or obstructed sightlines.

Suits owners of the listed Epson models only

This mount fits the EX3260, EX7260, EB-108, 2042, 2142W, 960W, 970 and 980W projectors and is not intended for drop or false ceilings. Buyers with different projector models, or who need a flush ceiling fit, should look at other mounting options.

Questions about this item

What ceiling height or clearance does the 10-inch extension require?

The extension positions the projector roughly 10 inches below the ceiling surface, so allow at least that much vertical space plus the projector height.

How is the mount attached to the ceiling and which step is often missed?

Hardware for drywall or wooden beams is included; the step installers skip is pre-drilling pilot holes for the lag bolts before tightening the plate.

Will the aluminium plate or hardware need periodic replacement?

The 6061-T6 aluminium plate and supplied hardware are corrosion-resistant and rated for the life of the mount; no scheduled replacement is required.
