Questions about this item

How much heat clearance does the 6061-T6 mounting plate leave around the Epson EX9230?

The CNC-machined plate uses minimal coverage so the projector's vents stay unobstructed and heat can escape normally during all-day use.

What ceiling type and tools do I need before installing this mount on a wooden beam?

The kit includes every bolt and anchor for drywall or wooden-beam ceilings; you only supply a drill, a stud finder and a ladder.

Will the fixed 5-inch drop still align the lens correctly if I keep my older Epson Home Cinema 1080 on the same ceiling?

Yes — the plate is cut for the EX9230, EX9240, Pro EX9240, Home Cinema 1080, 2200 and 2250, so any of those models sits at the same 5-inch offset.
