Extension Pack for PCMD Mounts

This extension pack is built for installers who need to lower a projector from the ceiling using a PCMD all-metal mount. It provides five fixed length options — 5", 8", 10", 12", or 14" — so the top of the projector sits at the required distance from the ceiling surface. The kit is intended for permanent installations where a specific drop length is known in advance.

Aircraft Aluminium Construction

Each extension piece is machined from 100% 6061-T6 aircraft aluminium for structural rigidity. The pack integrates directly with compatible PCMD ceiling mounts that accept extensions, and it does not work with telescoping extension models. Buyers must verify their projector model appears in the compatible list; the supplied projector plate may differ from product images but will match the listed models.

Passive Thermal Behaviour

The aluminium extensions conduct heat away from the mount interface without fans or moving parts, adding no audible noise to the installation. Because the components are passive, they draw zero electrical power and do not affect the projector's own thermal management. The fixed lengths keep the projector at a stable position for consistent airflow.
