Infocus IN146 Ceiling Mount

This aluminium projector mount is built specifically for the Infocus IN146 model. It provides a secure, model-specific attachment that leaves room for heat dissipation. Installers who need a dedicated fit rather than a universal bracket will find the CNC-machined plate matches the projector's mounting points exactly.

Lateral Shift and Telescoping Extension

The mount includes a lateral shift coupling that provides one and a half inches of side-to-side lens centring for off-centre ceiling joists. A telescoping arm adjusts the drop in one-inch increments from thirteen to twenty inches, and the whole assembly rotates three hundred sixty degrees with full pitch and roll freedom. All mounting hardware and detailed instructions are supplied in the box.

13 to 20 Inch Drop Range

The telescoping extension fixes the projector between thirteen and twenty inches below the ceiling surface. This single measurement determines whether the mount suits the room's ceiling height and desired screen position. The product is not designed for drop or false ceilings, so installers working with suspended grids must choose a different solution.

Questions about this item

Will the 6061-T6 aluminium mounting plate or the telescoping pole ever need replacement under normal indoor use?

The 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium construction is built to last and resists corrosion, so neither the plate nor the pole requires scheduled replacement.

What limits how far the projector can sit from the ceiling when the pole is fully extended?

The telescoping extension stops at 20 inches from the ceiling in one-inch increments.

Does the mount add noticeable heat or noise when the projector runs all day?

The open aluminium design leaves ample space for the projector’s own heat to escape and adds no moving parts or fan noise.
