Optoma EH319UST Series Ceiling Extension

This aircraft-aluminium extension arm fits Optoma EH319UST, EH319USTi, EH320UST and W320UST projectors. The telescoping tube positions the lens 13 to 20 inches below the ceiling in one-inch steps. A CNC-machined plate attaches directly to the projector without universal adapters.

Replaces Fixed-Distance Mounts

Fixed-length arms force a single drop length; this extension lets installers dial the exact distance after the ceiling bracket is secured. The jump is worth it when the mounting point sits higher than the screen centre or when conduit and ductwork demand variable clearance.

Build Integration

The 360-degree swivel and pitch-roll joints align the image without moving the ceiling anchor. Lateral-shift coupling adds 1-1/2 inches of side travel for off-centre joists. The open-frame plate preserves projector ventilation paths. Not rated for drop-ceiling grids.

Questions about this item

What ceiling height range does the 13-20 inch telescoping extension cover?

The extension adjusts in 1 inch increments to position the projector 13 to 20 inches from the ceiling surface.

How is the mount secured to the ceiling and what step is often missed?

Attach the ceiling plate to a structural joist using the included hardware, then lock the telescoping column at the desired length before tightening the lateral shift coupling.

Will the 6061-T6 aluminium mounting plate need replacement if I upgrade the projector later?

The CNC-machined plate fits only the Optoma EH319UST, EH319USTi, EH320UST and W320UST models, so a different projector will require a new mount.
