Compatible Optoma Models

This projector ceiling mount fits the Optoma EH460, EH460ST, EH465, W460, W460ST, WU465 and X460 models. It is built for installers who need a dedicated bracket rather than a universal solution. The CNC-machined plate matches the mounting points of these specific units only.

Tilt Range and Clearance

The mount provides 360-degree rotation with a pitch and roll adjustment of +/- 80 degrees. It positions the projector roughly five inches from the ceiling surface, leaving space for heat to escape. The design uses minimal projector coverage to avoid blocking ventilation ports.

Aircraft Aluminum Build and Hardware

The mounting plate is made from 100% 6061-T6 aircraft aluminium for rigidity. All necessary fixings for drywall or wooden beam installation are supplied in the box. Detailed instructions are included for a quick setup. This mount is not intended for drop or false ceilings.

Questions about this item

How do I install the OPTOMA-EH460-MM mount on a drywall ceiling, and what step do people often miss?

Use the included hardware and follow the detailed instructions to secure the mount to a drywall ceiling or wooden beam; the step often missed is verifying the CNC-machined plate aligns with the specific Optoma model before tightening all bolts.

What maintenance or replacement will the mount need over time?

The 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum construction is built to last with no moving wear parts; periodic checks that all mounting bolts remain tight are the only upkeep required.

What is the first limit I will hit when adjusting the projector angle under sustained use?

The mount allows 360-degree rotation and a maximum tilt of +/- 80 degrees; the tilt limit is the first mechanical stop reached during adjustment.
