Optoma Projector Ceiling Mount

This ceiling mount is designed exclusively for Optoma EW1691e, EX7155e and TW1692 projector models. It provides a secure, model-specific attachment point for permanent overhead installation in classrooms, meeting rooms or home theatres. The unit is machined from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium for structural rigidity and long-term durability. All required mounting hardware and detailed instructions are included for a straightforward fit.

Mounting Constraints and Adjustment

The bracket positions the projector roughly five inches below the ceiling surface and is not intended for drop or false-ceiling installations. A lateral-shift coupling delivers one-and-a-half inches of horizontal travel to centre the lens when the mounting point is off-axis. The assembly rotates a full 360 degrees and allows pitch and roll adjustment in any direction for precise image alignment. The CNC-machined plate minimises coverage to preserve ventilation around the projector chassis.

Compatibility Check Before Ordering

Verify that your projector is exactly one of the three Optoma models named above; the plate will not fit any other make or model even if the hole pattern appears similar. Confirm the ceiling structure can accept a fixed rigid mount with a short five-inch drop and that the installation is not into a suspended ceiling grid. Ensure the mounting location allows enough lateral clearance for the one-and-a-half-inch shift mechanism to operate without obstruction.
