Questions about this item

How far down from the ceiling will the Optoma UHD35 hang when this mount is fully extended?

The telescoping tube adjusts in 1 inch increments, positioning the projector anywhere from 13 to 20 inches below the ceiling surface.

Does the mount allow any side-to-side shift to centre the lens if the ceiling joist is off-centre?

Yes, the Lateral Shift Coupling provides 1-1/2 inches of left or right adjustment so the lens can be centred on the screen.

What ceiling height or structure is required for the 13 to 20 inch drop range?

The mount attaches directly to a solid ceiling; it is not designed for drop or false ceilings and needs a secure anchoring point for the 360 degree rotating base.
