Sanyo PLC-WU3800 Ceiling Mount

This projector ceiling mount is engineered specifically for the Sanyo PLC-WU3800 model. It positions the unit roughly 10 inches from the ceiling using a single extension column. The package includes every fastener and a clear instruction sheet so the installer can finish the job without extra trips to the hardware store.

360-degree rotation with 80-degree tilt

The mount rotates a full 360 degrees and pitches plus or minus 80 degrees, letting the installer dial in the exact image geometry. CNC-machined 6061-T6 aircraft aluminium keeps the assembly rigid during repeated adjustments. Because the plate covers only the necessary footprint, the projector’s own ventilation paths stay open during long presentations.

Aluminium construction for heat dissipation

The 6061-T6 aluminium plate draws warmth away from the projector chassis while adding minimal mass to the ceiling. No moving parts mean silent operation once the hardware is torqued down. The design is intended for solid drywall or wooden beams rather than suspended ceiling grids.

Questions about this item

Does the 10 inch extension affect heat escape from the Sanyo PLC-WU3800 projector?

The mount is designed with minimal projector coverage and leaves adequate space for heat to escape, even with the 10 inch drop from the ceiling.

Must I already own a Sanyo PLC-WU3800 projector for this mount to fit?

Yes, the CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminium plate is made only for the Sanyo PLC-WU3800; it will not fit other models.

Can the 360 degree rotation and 80 degree tilt work with an older drywall ceiling?

The included hardware installs on drywall or wooden beams, allowing full 360 degree rotation and ±80 degree tilt on those surfaces.
